It is now possible to paint with light using the Primary Color 28W PENTRON® and 54W PENTRON® HO lamps. These lamps produce red, green or blue light by using special phosphors rather than modifying white light sources with external filters. These lamps are especially suited to architectural lighting effects and advertising. The potential for “attention grabbing” display lighting is significantly increased with the PENTRON Primary Color line of T5 lamps. Luminaries incorporating DMX and analog controls to provide smooth color mixing in both indoor and outdoor versions are available today. 100 to 1%, controlled dimming can be achieved with dimming ballasts. |

Application Notes
1. T5 lamps are about 2" shorter than T8 and T12 bi-pin lamps.
2. Miniature bi-pin base will not install into T8 and T12 sockets.
3. Miniature bi-pin base requires UL listed 600 Volt rated sockets.
4. Requires Hi-Freq programmed rapid start E-ballasts equipped with end-of-life sensing circuit
5. Apply thermal factor in calculations for exterior or unheated applications.
